Abstract submissions now open
The European Academy of Optometry and Optics will hold its annual conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, 15-16 May 2010. The Academy is now calling for the submission of abstracts for consideration for oral, poster or workshop presentations.
The conference will bring together key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss and disseminate the latest research relating to optometry, optics and vision sciences. The event will appeal to delegates with a diverse range of clinical, research and educational interests.
Discussion will focus on a range of issues relating to current concerns for the Academy's stakeholders.
The Academy invites you to submit an abstract for oral, poster or workshop presentation format that addresses one of more of the conference themes:
- Education: "revalidation for health: continued fitness to practice for eye-health professionals'"
issues and challenges relating to the developing requirements for revalidation and reaccreditation of health-care professionals - Research: "paediatrics to geriatrics: research for all eye-ages", research in relation to paediatric and geriatric eye health
- General: eye care health in Europe the Academy invites a broad range of submissions that encourage debate and discussion amongst its stakeholders
